Food Production

The property of Jimbour now comprises 11,200 acres of Mountain Coolibah / Basalt ridges, undulating down to self-mulching black soil creek flats, dissected into 3000 acres of cultivation.

Cultivated land is used to grow cereal cash crops and winter forage crops for stock.

The balance of over 8000 acres is made up of natural and improved pastures for 700 breeding cattle and their progeny to turn off as bullocks and cull heifers. With bought in stock, over 700 fat cattle per year are produced.

The property produces around 30 commercial Charolais bulls annually.
