Jimbour House is delighted to host the Big Skies Festival for another year of entertainment, delicious food and historic tours in partnership with Western Downs Regional Council. From 3-7 October 2024, there’s no better way to spend the King’s birthday long weekend.
This year’s festival boasts an impressive line-up of live music, including performances by The Screaming Jets, Killing Heidi, Brad Cox, and more. The program also offers opportunities to see the local highlights of the Darling Downs region and tours of the Jimbour House property.
We’re thrilled to continue what is now a three-year partnership with Nosferatu Distillery, bringing you a curated selection of their premium local spirits. This year, we’re also excited to introduce something new, as we’ve teamed up with Your Mates Brewing Co. to offer a taste of their popular Lager, Pale Ale, and Ginger Beer, giving you even more local flavours to enjoy at the event.
On Saturday and Sunday mornings, festival-goers can enjoy the bustling local markets on the grounds. You’re invited to book various experiences, including Canapes Under the Stars, Happy Hour in The Hangar, and a Sunset Dinner featuring a three-course culinary journey paired with a three-hour drinks package. Vendors will also operate at the Camp Kitchen throughout the event to bring you a wide selection of food and drinks.
For the full festival experience, stay onsite and dive into the excitement with various camping options. Prefer a touch of luxury? Glamping tents are available, offering a stylish retreat that accommodates up to five guests for a weekend of comfort and charm.
