Jimbour provides a picturesque backdrop for your next private or corporate event, whether it be a milestone birthday, an executive board meeting or company Christmas party. With a variety of unique function spaces we can cater for smaller, more intimate get-togethers as well as larger groups of over 100.

The Drawing Room
Experience the grandeur of days long past with an intimate cocktail party in the heart of the Jimbour residence, the Drawing Room. With the crystal chandelier twinkling above, the room is centred around a substantial fireplace that provides a sense of warmth. The tall windows allow light and frame the magnificent Eastern Verandah. The rich textiles, fine art work and baby grand piano in the corner provide the perfect ambience to an intimate celebration. The Drawing room can cater for 40 guests seated or 70 guests cocktail-style.
The Chapel
To the west of the house lies the Chapel, built in 1868. This non-denominational Chapel features 10 timber pews that can seat up to 50 guests, with standing room at the rear of the chapel for another 35 guests. With its own organ and sound system, the Chapel is the perfect venue for small, intimate ceremonies.
The Grand Fig Tree
Our grand Moreton Bay Fig tree dates back to the 1800s and provides a stunning photo opportunity. With a seating capacity of 120, a curved seating arrangement can still give the space an intimate feel while catering for larger events.
The Hangar
For larger events, Jimbour’s signature aircraft Hangar is a unique venue that transforms into a magical space, with a capacity of 160 for seated events or 300 for cocktail-style.
The Deborah Russell Courtyard
With Jimbour house as your backdrop, this stunning private garden boasts a water feature, lush lawns and an in-built outdoor sound system. The Courtyard is the perfect setting for a cocktail evening or an elaborate lunch on the lawn, featuring produce from our very own kitchen garden. This area can cater for 140 seated guests or 300 cocktail-style.
The Jacaranda Drive
Setting the tone for a visit to Jimbour, The Jacaranda Drive paves the way to the property’s historic homestead. Mature Jacaranda trees line this drive, providing soft lilac hues throughout spring, shade during summer and a burst of golden colour during autumn. This area can cater for 250 seated guests and 400 people cocktail-style.
The Amphitheatre
The Amphitheatre on the grounds of Jimbour is the ideal venue for major cultural events, with a dedicated stage and the capacity to hold up to 9000 people.
A special dining

We have a network of experienced caterers with whom we work closely and highly recommend. Our catering partners can access our full commercial kitchen on-site and can cater for all special dietary requirements.

All of our event venues offer an unforgettable experience for your guests. Jimbour offers complimentary wifi and can also organise audio visual equipment on request. There is ample parking available and glamping facilities will be introduced in 2021.
