Celebrating a century of
excellence in beef
Our pristine plains
where cattle roam
Jimbour Beef has a proud and long tradition of producing premium, full-flavoured beef. It’s the result of more than 100 years of experience in breeding and raising the best quality livestock to produce world-class Australian beef. That quality comes from our meticulous approach to managing the welfare of our cattle and the environment in which they are raised. It means Jimbour Beef is always tender, flavourful and an unforgettable dining experience.
The lay
of the land
Each year we produce over 1000 cattle that roam and feed freely on more than 8000 acres of pristine Darling Downs and Central Queensland grass pastures. We also grow cereal and winter forage crops across about 3000 acres to ensure the health and dietary needs of our livestock are met, and of the highest quality. We currently produce two distinct types of beef: high quality angus beef and high quality wagyu beef.
The tastes
of tradition
We’ve been perfecting our craft for more than a century. A piece of perfectly cooked Jimbour Beef evokes all the flavours of Australia – a rich, full-flavoured and tender beef experience unlike any other.

The Russell
Pastoral Company
A multi-generational family legacy that helped write the agricultural history of the Darling Downs. The Russell Pastoral Company’s family members pioneered the farming and agricultural practices that helped make the region one of the richest sources of food in Queensland and Australia. And that family legacy lives on today.
