Few places capture the beauty of late winter on the Darling Downs quite like Jimbour House. For Alice and Hayden, the estate became the perfect backdrop for an elegant garden party celebration. Relaxed, intimate, and full of charm. Set in August, just before spring, their day unfolded across the gardens, courtyard, and Hangar in a seamless flow from ceremony to reception celebration.

Cocktail Hour in the Courtyard

After the ceremony, the celebration moved into the courtyard for a garden-style cocktail hour. Canapés and drinks flowed as guests mingled amongst the sandstone walls and blooming greenery, soaking in the late-winter sun. This was where the “elegant garden party” vision came to life. Relaxed conversation, good music, and the unmistakable warmth of a shared celebration.
